Adam Brunelle
Adam Brunelle is the Sommelier at Husk restaurant. Adams’ passion for wine was sparked in
Washington D.C. while working in Georgetown’s Café Milano. Movie stars and athletes enjoying and
expounding upon some of the worlds’ greatest Italian wines piqued his interest and drove him to begin
to explore the vinous world. He followed his newly found passion for wine and food to Charlie Palmer
Steak at the foot of Capitol Hill. There, under the tutelage of award-winning wine director Nadine
Brown, he ascended to the rank of Sommelier.
A vacation in Charleston enamored him with the city and after securing a job at Peninsula Grill he
moved south. After a year stint as a server at Peninsula Grill an opportunity arose for him to gain
creative control of a wine list at Samos Taverna. He worked as General Manager and Wine Director,
overseeing an eclectic list of wines with a focus on Greek and Mediterranean until joining the Husk team
as Sommelier.
Adam now enjoys working with a wine list divided by soil type and introducing new varietals and new
wine regions to his guests at Husk.
