Chef Christopher Holme
Christopher Holme is California-born, but moved to South Carolina at the age of 7. He grew up in the Chapin area and moved to Charleston in 2008 to attend the Culinary Institute of Charleston. He graduated in 2010 and is currently working under Chef Frank Lee and Chef de Cuisine Russ Moore at S.N.O.B. in downtown Charleston.
Christopher has had many awesome experiences since entering the culinary world, including the opportunity to meet and work with Chef Bobby Flay at the Charleston Food and Wine Festival. However, the most life changing experience he has had to date was a trip with CIC to Italy in 2008. It was here that he discovered the true meaning of making a meal into an event. It was also here that he became aware of the importance of cooking with really fresh, local foods. Christopher hopes to return to Italy one day, but in the meantime his goal is to open an Italian restaurant here in the States that specializes in fresh, authentic Italian food.
