Malia Camens

Malia has returned to Charleston after an eight year hiatus to start a boutique wine importing company, Stellina Imports. After leaving her job as an Investment Banker in Chicago, she decided she wanted to be truly passionate about her work (not that excel spreadsheets don't get everyone going...). That passion is wine. Malia's love was expanded during University, when she worked at a lovely bottle shop in St. Andrews, Scotland. It smoldered since then, but there was a time when she decided to make this passion tangible. She was standing on the crushpad of her friend's winery at 6 am watching the sun rise over the Mediterranean Sea, reflecting off of the mica-laden schist soil as the mist burned off the terraced vineyards of Collioure, France. That was the moment.  Malia is now making her dream of importing small, boutique European producers a reality. She lives in Charleston with her husband, daughter and two well-fed pups.
